All we have to do is look, feel and listen to Mother Nature, our dear Gaia. Then it starts to fall into place, helped by our spiritual guide who takes the lead.
Her apprehension of the environment is a subjective wandering where drifting becomes freedom.
The artist works with a mixture of various media; printing ink, pen, felt pen, various soft pencils, sometimes very diluted walnut stain that he refines with lead.
His poetic force is based on a voluntarily reduced palette often treated with a value of bichromy; a black and white duality, between depth and illumination, darkness and revelation, revealing the visible and the hidden, the elusive and the known. The emergence is thus built in a gradual revelation.
The painter seems inhabited by the idea of making permanent the most ephemeral, the most evanescent states, confronted with the force of the elements and that of the wind in particular.
I speak of the wind that we do not see. Often the wind becomes the engine of things.
Everything gets carried away, flies and moves.

L’opera che l’ artista presenta alla mostra “ Duality” di Roma si chiama DISSONANZA, in base all’ apparente squilibrio tra le due parti dell’ immagine. Si susseguono variazioni di motivi cromatici, che comprendono anche dei vuoti, come se si attendesse un compimento… L’ immagine grafica è ottenuta dall’ artista tramite un algoritmo originale e stampato su tela in copia unica.

“Wave alive” is a work made on a sandy base, where the colors of the wave want to convey freshness and spontaneity. The color strokes are applied with a brush and a spatula. You can also see drops splashed by the waves.

Some things are hidden, complimentary concepts arise but they are all part of that beginning, some lines are soft some are harder. The figure in red teeters on the edge of a concept and sometimes is overwhelmed by what surrounds them.

My artwork explores this space in-between by utilizing a diptych form which allows me to depict both the unobserved object in abstract form juxtaposed against the recognizable shape of a bird representing the perception by the subject.

Porajmos is to Roma what the Shoah is to the Jewish community. Translated into English, the title of my work means „devour“. This term comes from Romanes, a very old Indo-Aryan language related to Sanskrit and still spoken today by the Roma and numerous sub-groups.
In this work of art, the involuntary suffering as a community in this dark time of visions is graphically recorded and serves as a reminder that something like this shouldn‘t happen again.

It could be taking shape while sitting on the morning train looking out through fogged-up glass. Various thoughts, words, and phrases run through our heads as our mood gradually emerges as part of our being, influencing subsequent actions and interactions.

About these moments of the injustice of the world, when everything is built perfectly and should go according to plan, but at some point, something breaks down and it follows in a series of unpleasant events. Feelings when you are torn apart, you try to collect everything, but again it does not come out. The ground is slipping away from under your feet, a sense of instability, uncertainty, and even helplessness. Everyone has experienced this. What to do at such moments?
At some point, my mutton stubbornness decided to take a day off and I was forced to try an alternative option. To tell the world, OK, let’s see what happens, I won’t resist. And to my great surprise, events began to change, it was very scary, but in the end, it turned out much better than I could have imagined. Apparently, the universe has its own plans for us and it makes it clear to us. We can resist, or we can trust the Supreme. It can be scary, but we have faith.

La pittura, da me intitolata “”Il Velo di Maya””, è stata realizzata con una tecnica mista attraverso l’impiego di colori acrilici e pasta modellante.
La sovrapposizione di colori ed elementi crea un gioco ottico non solo di contrasti, ma anche di trasparenze e velature finalizzato a far intravedere o a celare un elemento simbolico che è parte
dell’intelaiatura. Questo dipinto tende a mostrare come il nostro sguardo non riesca a captare il mistero della realtà che ci circonda, che nella pittura viene rappresentata da quattro delta ciascuno dei quali simboleggia un elemento della Natura (acqua, terra, fuoco ed aria) su uno sfondo cangiante che raffigura l’etere.
La realtà fatta di componenti materiali ed immateriali, non può essere vista per ciò che essa è, perché lei stessa è un mistero che si nasconde dietro un velo.

I start my work with stylized drawings of the face, lips, eyes and nose. I let myself be guided by the play of colors and geometric shapes. I paint with pastel and pure colors and strengthen them with geometric structures. As the art historian Vuković said, “For a moment, it can be seen that the bold, energetic and euphoric chromatic excitement, which passionately moves this artist, dominates the drawings of faces and geometric structures.
It’s as if it wants to cover up, suppress the depth of the gaze of eyes that are open, large, eager to look into life, the world, the world of art”. They offer a view towards, as interpreted by Kandinsky, the inner necessity, towards thoughts, perceptions, emotions, cognitions, beliefs, ideas.They are a reflection of what is hidden and what needs to be analytically revealed.

The figures in “We’re all star stuff” scrutinize the horizon with curiosity, ready to grasp the unknown challenges that life puts before them. These characters seem to come somewhere from within my own DNA, appear as the painting unfolds, and are unafraid of obstacles life is bringing their way.

With my work, I would like to show the duality of a symbiosis of a photograph and digital art in one work, the Garden of the Hesperides.
Based on a photo of a tree blossom in spring, this is an experiment with a computer program that segments a photo into many individual parts. A photo experiment in which the result convinced me.
The structure, which looks like a prison lattice, represents the emergence of the blossoms from the prison of the Garden of the Hesperides and the subsequent transformation of the blossoms into a golden apple.

The title links the analog painting to a digital phenomenon, where in 3D open world games, the landscapes are procedurally generated by algorithms and a input string – a so called seed. My own perception of creating analog paintings isn’t much different, as I follow some unforeseen algorithmic patterns while creating an artwork in the process.
